ANAHATA

Painting the heart centered feminine submerged in lush surroundings has been a theme since 2018 in these small works of 5X7inch or 12,7X17,78cm. Resemblance with religious icons shows in the use of small sized canvas, call for devotion, metallic colours and luminosity. The Madonna in my work celebrates women in their divinity. Though often depicted naked, they symbolize the sacred levels in the mundane, where their sexuality expresses an intimacy towards life itself.
